The artistic style of the graphics are changed at some parts that make them way worse, the fog is honestly unbearable and looks so unrealistic due to it being just a moving wall, the lighting/ brightness is worse, SH3.the voice just sucks compared to the originals with Heather having not only much less emotion in her lines but also just has a different and much less appealing attitude, also the music and many of the sounds in SH 3 are different and worse since they are mostly wrong, there are bugs, though myself have never had a problem with 2, but while doing a speed run of SH3 the game kept freezing making it impossible to complete the game, though the freezing didn’t happen the first few times, overall it just looks worse and has many artistic problems/changes another example is during one cutscene instead of hearing a creepy noise you hear nothing. Outdated graphics can still scare the living daylights out of players if the tension is executed perfectly, and Silent Hill has the ability to haunt gamers more than twenty years after its release.
